Multi-user Local Area Network Setup

Install the latest verison of AutoMi to the Server Computer, make sure it could be launched successfully and login to the Sample Company using the default account. Server Computer will host the database, so the Server Computer must be turned on for other Client Computer to connect to.

Install the same latest version of AutoMi to the Client Computer. Make sure it could be launched successfully and login to the Sample Company.

Configure the Server Computer Firewall or any security software installed, make sure Microsoft SQL Server 2014 (x86) is allowed.

At the Log in screen, click on the Database Server dropdown box

O Logon  Database  Databases:  Language:•  User Name:  Password:  Loa host  Server Name  {Browse for Network Servers}  Localhost

Click on the {Browse for Network Servers} option, the system will start searching for the Server Computer.

Once the system finished the search, the dropdown box will show the names of the server found. In this case, the Server Computer found is called SP3NM, click on the newly found server.

O Logon  Database  Databases: *  Language: *  User Name:  Password:  {Browse for Network Servers}  Server Name  {Browse for Network Servers}  Localhost  SP3NM

The system will get all the available Company Databases from this newly found server. Click on the Databases dropdown box  to select the company you want to connect to

O Logon  Database Server  Databases: *  Language: *  User Name:  Password:  :* SP3NM  SampleCompany - 19-03-23  Display Company Name  Newco-1g-03-23  SampleCompany - 19-03-23

Use the User account created for the company database selected to log in to the company

From the lower left corner, check the system displayed current User, Server and Company name is correct
